While surfing on the internet I saw some of the persons of the Radar Group of my time with whom I had the privilege to work with, Ruy Brandao, Ken Tribble, Dean Maurer, Dave Taylor and of course few that I do not recall their names. I should not forget to mention the group leader Nick Papanikolaou and Skip Stevens.

I am sending you a picture taken in 1968 for the company news letter at that time, with employees from different country of origin, taken in the parking lot outside the Bendix Building . I am the first on the second row, holding the label Greece.

It has been 30 years since this photo was taken of Phil's Angels. Phil Santucci (BIG Pittsburgh Steeler's Fan!) was the Supervisor of the Bendix Expediting department under Nelson Nizer.

I currently work as a PC Field Applications Engineer for a Taiwanese Semiconductor manufacturer called Nuvoton- which was just spun off from another Taiwanese company called Winbond Electronics, which in 2005, purchased the Advanced PC products division of National Semiconductor, where I was an applications engineer for more than 10 years. Sounds a little like that whole Bendix/King Air Transport Avionics Ft Lauderdale, thing doesn't it??

Anyway I hope all is well, and that seeing a picture might spur a few old friends to drop me an email. I would love to hear from them.

Also- if anyone has any pictures of Gary Kelpien (my good friend from those days who is no longer with us), I would reeally like to see them posted.

Photos from Donna Phoenix, Inspection Dept. She dug up a couple of scanned photos from a truely blustery day at Bendix that she thought the gang might get a kick out of. Now if we could just remember who actually took the shots.

There are 8 pictures here that were taken at a picnic held on the beach at the Yankee Clipper one evening after work. I am guessing late 1970s but have no better clue than that for the date. Maybe someone else can put a better date on this based on who is there. Plus others from 1987 & 1993

... I have a few photos of John, Bendix-era and some later years. John will always be remembered by most for his costumes, which were put to good use in later years in the organizations he belonged to. His beloved Klingon Legion of Assault Warriors and his other persona as the sword fighting renaissance man at the Florida Renaissance Faire.
He will be missed but never forgotten.

Julie Bilenky (Bendix purchasing secretary for years) passed away on May 29th 2008 in North Carolina after a car accident 1 day before her granddaughter's wedding. Julie's husband Tony predeceased her and worked in engineering. Photos by Evelyn (Kastle) Zuback on 2/11/2006.

Happy New Year all to our Bendix Friends Sue Miller & I want to share photo's we took of the old 2100 NW 62nd St. - Bendix building. It is now the new Bank Atlantic National headquarters. The old building was completed remodeled with the main entrance & lobby now in the center of the build (1st & 3rd photo). The east entrance for employees is still there (2nd photo).
